Africa Kids Education Trust is a newly formed ORGANISATION
(charity status pending)

Founded with positive ideas to help fund impoverished and underprivileged young Africans to gain an academic education within their own countries. Our goal is to help educate and train African kids who are potentially talented and intelligent, the major criteria is for them to originally come from a poor family and they must be proposed to us by their elementary school authorities.
 

By giving them good foundations, Our intention is for the kids to reach their highest potential and qualify in all skills from builders, plumbers carpenters, electricians to doctors, lawyers, scientists dentists and all other skills were education is required.

We believe that given the opportunity to education, African kids would be more productive in the future and become highly skilled individuals willing to work within their own continent. Educating young people within Africa would be more cost effective than sending prospective students to the West/Abroad.

Within this education program, we believe in using, to the maximum, what facilities are available.

The age of the children to be educated, will be from PRIMARY school age, and will continue to university graduate.

In some circumstances, there are young African boys and girls who have been able to gain an education until senior years, but unfortunately unable to gain college or University places through lack of funds. Some of these young people we will also like to sponsor.

AfricaKids Education Trust, will take children from the poorest of the African countries, such as MALI, NIGER, CAMEROON, BURKINA FASO, KENYA, ZIMBABWE, IVORY COAST, GHANA, NIGERIA and THE GAMBIA.

AIMS AND GOALS.

Within the next TEN years AfricaKids Education Trust's aims and goals, will be for us to be known throughout the world, so eventually it will be AfricaKids Education Trust ( International)

AfricaKids Education Trust was founded in JANUARY 2010 by a mature Christian lady from BIRMINGHAM ENGLAND. After learning about the plight of some of Africa's most vulnerable and starving children, she considered where and how she could offer her help, not only in the short term but for the children's future prospects also. With eagerness and determination she started on a journey of faith and hope which was to lead to the founding of the TRUST.

AfricaKids Education Trust would concentrate on some of the poorest countries in the African Continent. The children to be educated would be chosen by their intelligence and their talents. The Trust will concentrate on providing a basic education for each child, for example; school uniform (compulsory) stationeries (necessary) school meals (where possible) Government levy (per term) and tutoring.

All funds raised and donated will be specifically for our African Education programme. Our overheads are minimal and our workers are volunteers.
